RTRC stands for Rising Tide Rewards Club. This name comes from the saying “A rising tide lifts all boats” and is what we stand for here at RTRC. We believe that everyone can rise together and that by creating an environment that fosters both member and business alike, we hope we can create a positive impact on everyone who joins our RTRC family.
Quite simply – RTRC are a rewards club. Our mission is to become the best rewards club in Aotearoa, New Zealand by connecting businesses with a larger, dedicated customer base. We would like to be able to create a mutually beneficial relationship between consumers and their favourite businesses/services by offering members exclusive discounts and access if they are signed up to be members with RTRC. We know the high cost of living is having an impact on how and where consumers choose to spend their money and we believe that creating these connections through a membership base will simultaneously give more affordable options to consumers, while supporting much-loved businesses.
Our end-goal is to be able to stream membership fees towards give-back initiatives and giveaways to help communities and community groups around Aotearoa and to reward our membership base for supporting our cause.
Our team is made up of and founded by All Black TJ Perenara (Ngāti Rangitihi), Byron Pewhairangi (Ngāti Porou) and Freddie Robinson (Te Whānau-ā-Apanui).
The boys are supported also by their whānau who do the mahi behind the scenes on both the business side of things and the family front. All of RTRC’s founders are Pāpā to their beautiful tamariki and are from Wellington.
Once we have received your interest to register as a business partner with RTRC, we will then work with you to decide what type of benefit/discount you can provide to our community. This will then be an on-going benefit/discount available for our community members to use while they are signed up to RTRC.
If you become an RTRC member you will have exclusive access to special pricing, reduced rates and promotional offers that are not available to the public. These discounts can apply to a wide range of products, services and experiences, allowing you to save money on everyday expenses. You will also have the satisfaction of knowing that your membership contribution is being fed back into our give back initiative, where we aim to provide giveaways and experiences to our members and their communities.
RTRC members will need to either:
Display their RTRC membership (via website login) on their personal device in store/in person
enter an exclusive RTRC discount code upon checkout (online only)
Your online login will show our business partners that your membership is active, what tier you are and whether you are eligible to redeem your benefits.
